How to connect to a Veeder-root TLS-4/4XX
On the console, use menu to retrieve/edit communication settings
- Select Settings from the Home screen
- Select Comm
- Select General tab
GENERAL Tab
- Configured: Enabled
- Slot: # of Comm Slot
- Port: # of Port on Comm Board
- Comm Board: RS232 Card
- Baud rate: 9600
- Data bits: 7 Data
- Parity: Odd
- Stop bit: 1 Stop
- Handshaking: No Handshaking
Connecting the PDS hardware to the TLS-4/4XX
1. Connect the appropriate connector/adapter to the ATG's serial port
(Connect the gray 3-pin DB9 male adapter to an available serial port on the bottom of the ATG.)
2. Connect the black DB9 female adapter into the serial port on the PDS hardware device.
3. Connect the included ethernet cable to each adapter.
4. Contact us to confirm communication settings and connectivity.
