How to connect to a Franklin Fueling Evo

To retrieve/edit communication settings

(You will need the “admin” password to do this)

1. Down arrow from top of screen
2. Tap the System tab
3. Tap Configuration
4. Enter the password
5. Tap Communications
6. Tap Serial Ports

7. Tap Comm 1 or 2

   

Settings should be

• Mode: Veeder-Root
• Baud Rate: 1200
• Data Bits: 7
• Parity: Odd
• Stop Bits: 1

Connecting the PDS hardware to the Franklin Fueling Evo

1. Connect the appropriate connector/adapter to the ATG's serial port

• (Connect the gray 7-pinDB9 male adapter to serial port)

2. Connect the black DB9 female adapter into the serial port on the PDS hardware device.

3. Connect the included ethernet cable to each adapter.

4. Contact us to confirm communication settings and connectivity.
